Appa Yogiram Birthday 1st December....................

01/12/2009

Yogiramsuratkumar jayagururaya!!!!!!!!

Dear Ones,

Good day to you.

Today is our Appa Yogiram's Birthday.  May He bless us with His Choicest Wishings forever.

With love & regards.

Vijibala

Note:  Please read the following message in connection with Appa Yogiram

If you cannot remember that God is everywhere, Just chant His Name, that will do everything

Bhagawan Yogiramsuratkumar

Whereever
you are, whatever you are doing, always remember that you are doing it
for this beggar; who is all pervading and is everywhere.

If you cannot remember that God is everywhere, Just chant His Name, that will do everything.

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Chanting the Name is prayer; There is no need to pray seperately

Chanting the Name is surrender;

Chanting the Name is samadhi;

Chanting the Name is prayer;

There is no need to pray seperately

This beggar has no other message to give. Let them remember the name of Rama, Krishna and Shiva

What
message does this beggar have to give, to people abroad. I am not so
great. Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Aurobindo, Ramatirtha, Ramadas,
Ramana, J.K., all are great and they have given their messages.
Whatever messages they have given is MY FATHERs message.

This beggar has no other message to give. Let them remember the name of Rama, Krishna and Shiva."

In such a life, when we encounter misery, instead of wailing, if we cry out the name of the Lord&&&&..He comes down to help us

"A story in the Puranas goes thus

An elephant named
Gajendran was struck in the mouth of a crocodile as it went to drink
water.  In spite of help from a thousand other elephants, it could not
get relieved.  It was then that it called out to the Lord and He came
down to help.

In Tiruvannamalai
lived a Mahatma by name Yogiramsuratkumar.  He was then in Tirukkovilur
where is located the Tapovanam of Swami Gnanananda.   River Pennaiyar
flows through this town.  Next to the river is the Samadhi of another
Mahan called Ragottama Swami.  It was his Aradhana day and thousands of
devotees were gathered there.

A little boy who went
to take bath in the Pennaiyar river, got struck in between two huge
rocks in the river.  The river was flooded and no one could save him.
Panicked, people rushed to Swami Gnanananda and surrendered unto him,
requesting him to save the boy.

Saying that there was another powerful person carry out that task, Swami Gnanananda summoned Yogiramsuratkumar to save him.

Yogi went to the banks
of the river, and swaying his hand-fan, uttered Sri Ram, Jaya Ram Jaya
Jaya Ram!
and behold! The rock broke into a thousand pieces!

Later, Yogi used to
live under a peepul tree in Tiruvannamalai.  One night he was sleeping
under the tree with other devotees.  At about midnight, suddenly Yogi
arose saying, this beggar has an important job and started walking as
others followed him.  A mile or two away, there was a large farm land,
and in the center was a huge well that irrigated the land. The well did
not have walls, and a horse had fallen into it.

We need to save the
horse, said Yogi.  Looking at the sheer size of the fallen horse, the
people around said, Let us call the fire station.

Yogi replied, If you can save the horse, go ahead.  Otherwise, leave it to this beggar.

Puranas say that the elephant Gajendran who was in pain, cried out to the Lord and the Lord arrived from Vaikunta to save it.

Now, it was this horse, and no one knew how it cried out, and Yogi was there to save it!

Yogi went around the
well twice and then, swaying his hand-fan, chanted, Om Sri Ram! Jai
Ram! Jai Jai Ram! and then, just as we watch it in a movie, the horse
gently jumped out and ran away!

This is not a  built-up story! Even today, there are people who have witnessed this event.

People asked Yogi, 'Bhagavan! you are capable of doing such miracles!

Yogi replied, No No! This beggar is not capable of doing any miracles. Only Ram Naam is doing miracles!

In our life we enjoy or suffer depending on our 'paapa' and 'punya'.  The imprints of our past deeds (prarabda) follow us.

No one's life is filled with just happiness or just sorrow.  Life is a mix of both happiness and sorrow.

In such a
life, when we encounter misery, instead of wailing, if we cry out the
name of the Lord, irrespective of the condition and situation, He comes
down to help us
.

My father will bless all those who participate in this mahayagna&&&..

"yagnyanam japayagnyosmi"  Among sacrifices, I am the sacrifice of silent repetitions, says Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-Gita.

Chanting of Lord Rama's Name is a great sacrifice
and participating in this mahayagna is equal to receiving invitation
from my master, Swami Ramdas Himself. My father will bless all those
who participate in this mahayagna and all welfare will accrue to them.

All
I know is Ramnam. For him there is no need for realization, visions,
experience, or anything else. Ramnam is everything. Chant the name all
24 hours! I do as ordained by my master. Thats enough for this beggar.

Bhagavãn Yogi Ram Surat Kumar

sadasiva brummendral - my spiritual guru

Sadasiva Brahmendrar aradhana - 2006

The 26th aradhana celebrations of Brahma Gnani Sadhguru Sadasiva Brahmendrar was observed on May 5, 6 and 7 at Manamadurai. A vaggeyakara, he felt that nadopasana is the best method of reaching the divine. His musical outpourings have suffused a divine aura. The songs are surcharged with divinity and spirituality. His ‘Bhajana Sampradhaya Kritis’ are sung by bhagavathars till date as they drip with emotion.
The idea to celebrate this festival was mooted by Paramacharya, the sage of Kanchi. The committee has many leading musicians as members. In order to create an awareness amongst the devout and the musicians, the committee organised the three-day festival where several leading musicians participated.
Scholars gave spiritual discourses. Many senior and budding artistes enthralled the audience with their soulful rendition. All the three days, pooja was done to the idol of Sadasiva Brahmendrar installed in Anantha Valli Sametha Sri Somanatha Temple.
Unchavriti was done everyday followed by pooja and continuous rendering of songs. Besides vocalists, leading percussionists also participated. Anjaneyar utsavam was performed on the concluding day.
It was a treat to see the musical fraternity assemble at Manamadurai to pay musical obeisance to Brahmendrar. The whole atmosphere echoed with harmonious music. Titans of the music world B V Raman, P S Naryanaswamy, Seerkazhi Jayaraman, A Sundareswaran, Thiruvenkadu Jayaraman and several others took part.
Sankara Sethu, an art critic and one of the organisers, coordinated the music mela with utmost care. Annaprasadha was served everyday.

TRUE STORY

What small steps are taken to achieve freedom for us all. This scene took place on a British Airways flight between Johannesburg, South Africa & London.

A white woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.
Very disturbed by this, she called the air hostess. 'You obviously do Not see it then?' she asked. 'You placed me next to a black man.

I did not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group.
Give me an alternative seat.'
'Be calm please,' the hostess replied.. 'Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available.'

The hostess went away & then came back a few minutes later... 'Madam,
Just as I thought, there are no other available seats in Economy Class.
I spoke to the captain & he informed me that there is also no seat in Business Class. All the same, we still have one place in First Class.'
Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued. 'It is
not usual for our company to permit someone from Economy Class to sit
in First Class. However, given the circumstances, the Captain feels
that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so
disgusting.'
She turned to the black guy & said, 'Therefore, Sir if you would like
to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First
Class...'

At that moment, the other passengers, who'd been shocked by what they
had just witnessed, stood up & applauded.

This is a true story. If you are against racism, please send this to
all your friends; please do not delete it without sending it to at
least 1 Person.

WELL DONE, British Airways
Pranams to my Guru Poojya Sri Sadasivabrummam!
